Position Overview
Join IAF’s innovative team as a Co-op Student where you’ll play a key role in supporting various company operations, communications, and program initiatives! This multifaceted position involves everything from updating manuals and organizing client communications, contributing to marketing efforts and assisting with program administration to helping plan IAF events. You'll work cross-departmentally, with the chance to flex your communication skills by creating content for newsletters, social media, and web copy, collaborate on financial reporting and client project tracking. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment. A keen eye for detail, adept multi-tasker, and an approach to learning with an open and curious mind, makes you successful in this role!
This position is in-person working out of IAF’s Victoria office. It is a full-time position, 37.5 hrs per week, 4-month co-op. The hourly wage is $25.00 with a start date in January 2025. Only students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution who will be returning after the co-op or have a co-op program requirement to graduate are eligible for this role.

Eligibility Note: To qualify for a student (Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled in their academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term. If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave IAF at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities.
