As a Registered Midwife, you are more than a clinician. You are a primary care provider, trusted to guide clients through pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and newborn health. You assess, diagnose, prescribe, order diagnostic tests, attend births, support reproductive health services, provide emergency care when needed, and become the most responsible provider for your caseload.

Working within a collaborative territorial team, you build lasting relationships with families while delivering culturally safe, evidence-informed care that improves maternal and child health outcomes across the Beaufort Delta region.

Compensation

Salary: $121,641 - $145,295

Qualifications

A Baccalaureate degree in Midwifery (Health Sciences) or assessed through a Prior Learning and Experience Assessment (PLEA) program within a Canadian province, with a minimum of two years’ experience in delivering midwifery care as a primary care provider.
