At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley, we enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. Since 1974, we have been matching children with adult role models in professionally supported mentoring relationships that help them achieve their biggest possible futures. With the guidance and support of a mentor, youth are reminded that they can be anything they dream of being. Mentoring relationships change young people's lives. With training and professional support, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors form strong developmental relationships with their mentees that express care, challenge growth, share power, and expand possibilities.
We have an exciting opportunity for a positive, creative person to join the team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley. We’re seeking a full-time Mentoring Coordinator to join our passionate team—someone who is especially skilled in supporting and nurturing mentoring relationships, with a focus on managing and supporting our group mentoring programs.

You are an energetic, responsible and positive person to join us, with a strong commitment to our mission. You will assist in the recruitment, screening, training of potential, liaising with partners, as well as provide ongoing support and monitoring to our group mentoring programs. You demonstrate self-awareness, are detail-oriented, and have strong case management skills as a Mentoring Coordinator. You jump at the chance to collaborate with others and you genuinely enjoy connecting with colleagues and look forward to working collectively with families and volunteers to achieve positive mentoring relationships. The ideal candidate has excellent time management and organization skills, thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and enjoys variety in their day.
