HERE’S WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER
Within Family Preservation and Reunification Services, our Family Day Program serves families with children 0-4 years of age in a supportive learning environment in a group setting. This “day treatment” program promotes improved parent-child interactions and focuses on strengthening the parent-child relationship.
The Family Day Counselor plans, implements and delivers the day-treatment program. This position assists families in strengthening the parent-child relationship by nurturing healthy attachment, modelling practical hands-on parenting skills and facilitating psycho-educational groups. This position helps identify goals and needs of families, and works in collaboration with Family Counselors and Social Workers.

Work Hours: 17.5 hrs/week
Salary: $985.25 bi-weekly
Term: 12-month maternity leave but may be extended
Location: Work in the culturally vibrant Vancouver neighbourhood of Fraser St. and King Edward Ave.
