Catchment Manager

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Catchment Manager leads a diverse team of MOSAIC and partner staff to provide operational leadership and support in delivering employment services that meet labour market needs, connecting clients with opportunities for networking, career exploration, work experience, and job placement. The Catchment Manager plans, coordinates, develops, and promotes employment programs and services that address the needs of the agency and clients, and meets the requirements of the funders and other partners. In conjunction with the Senior Manager, the Catchment Manager ensures that strategic and contractual goals of the program are achieved.



  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or appropriate combination of courses in career development, community studies, education, business management, marketing, or office technology or a combination of training and experience related to delivering employment services
  • Knowledge of employment programs and services, and local labour market conditions, preferably within the WorkBC context
  • Able to incorporate data and financial analysis in decision-making
  • Able to manage a large case load while balancing client services and outcome targets
  • Experience leading a team of diverse staff; including hiring,
    scheduling, training, supervising, managing performance, and implementing change is required
  • Excellent cross-cultural and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience marketing and recruiting for programs
  • Excellent problem solving, team building, collaboration and organizational skills; able to exercise good judgment
  • Excellent working knowledge of program activities, office equipment, MS Office and database software including Integrated Case Management (ICM)
  • Career Development Practitioner certified will be considered an asset
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check required


Full-time (37.5 hours per week)



Competitive salary commensurate with level of experience and qualifications


A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
