Job Title: Counsellor, Children Who Witness Abuse
Languages: English & Punjabi or English & Arabic
Status: Permanent, Part Time
Hours: 21 hours/week
Working in our PEACE program, the Counsellor will provide individual and group counselling services to children who have witnessed abuse, threats or violence in the home.
Your main focus is providing counselling, education and advocacy support to children between the ages of 3 and 18 who have witnessed domestic violence. You will also provide emotional and parenting support for parents regarding the impact on their children of witnessing violence.
