Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Program Manager, Counselling Services that is provincially based.  This role will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and administrative management to both counselling staff and placement students in our Sudbury, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Timmins, and Sault Ste. Marie locations (approximately 25+ staff in total), as well as coverage for managers in other locations in the province.  The successful candidate can be located in any of our Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Durham, Kingston, London, Waterloo, Toronto, or Hamilton office locations. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Social Work or Counselling Psychology, combined with professional registration/credentialing/licensing with a relevant regulatory body (e.g. Ontario College of Social Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario).  You have three to five years’ experience in clinical program administration combined with direct experience in the social service field and in risk management.  You are also someone with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. You have a sense of urgency and can handle a pressurized environment with the ability to manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
