CancerCare Manitoba Foundation exists to support the incredible and lifesaving work of CancerCare Manitoba. Due to donor generosity, the Foundation has given over $125 million to CancerCare in the past 20 years for local research, clinical trials, patient programs and capital initiatives.
To continue supporting CancerCare Manitoba’s objectives, the Foundation is embarking on a significant campaign to expand philanthropic support over the next number of years. They are ready to welcome an Associate Director, Major Gifts during this transformational time - a newly created position reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO). This is an exciting position for a relationship builder who is entrepreneurial, energetic and goal-oriented.

CancerCare Manitoba Foundation’s mission is to support CancerCare Manitoba’s strategic priorities. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation has been able to grant more than $125 million to CancerCare since 2000. This investment profoundly impacts patient outcomes and bridges the gap of initiatives and programs not eligible for government funding or where financial resources are not available. CancerCare Manitoba is the provincially mandated agency for cancer and blood disorders and the Foundation shares its bold vision, “A world free of cancer” and the goal that no life is cut short by cancer.
CancerCare Manitoba Foundation is the only charitable organization exclusively fundraising for CancerCare Manitoba. All funds raised and donated remain in Manitoba.
