Stopping the Violence Women’s Counselling Program

Regular Position, Both Part Time and Full Time considered (up to 35hrs/wk)

 

The Together Against Violence Team at Community Services provides programs that support women whose lives have been impacted by violence and trauma. Programs provide crisis intervention, shelter, counselling, advocacy and non-judgmental emotional and practical support.

 

What does it take to be the Women’s Counsellor in the Stopping the Violence Women’s Counselling Program? You have a belief in the resiliency of women and must have experience counselling women individually and in groups with a feminist informed understanding of gender based violence.
