PCRS requires a full-time administrative assistant who will work at our Newton Youth Hub. This site is a multi-program site, for youth and families in the areas of housing, counselling, drop-in youth programming, newcomer programs, and outreach programs. The applicant will have experience working within a diverse environment and a genuine interest in working with vulnerable or marginalized individuals. The applicant will be friendly, welcoming and non-judgmental and thrive in a positive, progressive atmosphere, respecting and valuing the diversity of communities and individuals. The program assistant is responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for participants and service providers, and to support the maintenance of a multitude of partnerships with stakeholders, including schools, community-based organizations, and other partners. Finally, these positions require working in a manner that preserves participant confidentiality and will seek to minimize this risk as per privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.
