Job Title: Clinical Counsellor, Substance Use

Status: Permanent, Part Time, 17.5 hours per week
Schedule: 3 days per week in the clinic - Sunday + 2 weekdays (Monday - Thursday)
Clinic Hours: Sundays 10:30am - 2:30pm and
Mondays - Thursdays 4:30pm - 8:30pm

Working within our Counselling Services Department, the Clinical Counsellor, Substance Use will provide 1:1 counselling support, outreach and advocacy to South Asian men & women who struggle with addiction, including drugs, alcohol, and opiate use. All counselling services and interventions are individualized for each client and family, with the aim of reducing barriers the client is facing and increasing capacity through a strength-based therapeutic approach. In order to serve the needs of our community, candidates must be able to provide service in English and Punjabi.
This position will support the Roshni Clinic, the successful candidate will be required to work in the clinic on Sunday afternoons and Monday - Thursday evenings.
