Catholic Family Service is seeking an innovative individual to be responsible for clinical, administrative, program and agency leadership across programs at Louise Dean Centre, specifically in supporting a culture of quality service provision. Catholic Family Service at Louise Dean Centre is a partnership with Calgary Board of Education and Alberta Health Services to provide educational, health and counseling/social supports to pregnant and parenting teens and their families. Together with the other Supervisor, this position has an important role in the leadership and management of Counselling & Social Support Services at the Centre. The Supervisor reports to the Director, Early Parenthood and Infant Mental Health. This role is best suited to a self-starter  who possesses strong competencies in clinical and administrative supervision, program management, quality assurance and leadership. Strong interpersonal and strategic thinking abilities are used while participating on a variety of divisional and agency wide leadership teams and committees.

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduate degree in Social Work,/Psychology or academic equivalent;
  • Eligible and in good standing with professional governing body, if applicable;
  • Previous experience in a supervisory and/or program management capacity;
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative;
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills;
  • Ability to support staff with clinical consultation and case management;
  • Experience with quality assurance processes, outcome evaluation measures, and data management and validation;
  • Experience in writing grant proposals and reports;
  • High degree of adaptability and ability to manage change;
  • Authorized to perform psychosocial interventions is considered an asset; and
  • Core Brain Story Certification through the Alberta Family Wellness initiative is an asset.
