Position: Crisis Intervention Worker
Term : Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY: The Second Stage Housing crisis intervention worker provides the women and children with safety and support offering crisis intervention when required, makes appropriate referrals to community agencies such as hospitals, police, Ministry of Child & Family Services if support services are needed. Crisis Intervention worker maintains the security of the building and its residents by making rounds throughout the shift, checking mechanical and maintenance rooms for problems. Cleaning duties are an essential responsibility of the crisis intervention worker. The crisis intervention worker must have good communication skills, both oral and writing, a valid First Aide certificate, be able to work as part of a team, and independently.
