The Role

The EHS Doggie Daycare ensures a high level of customer service, providing a safe, fun, and social environment for their dogs during the workday. The purpose of the Daycare is to provide a service to community, our supporters and adopters that fits with the EHS mission, vision, and values, while generating revenue to support the charitable work of EHS.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for a variety of functions as follows:

  • Greeting clients at the front desk as they drop off and pick up their dogs from Daycare
  • Assist in responding to client and public concerns and questions over the phone and at the front desk
  • Provide exemplary customer service for clients in the Daycare
  • Assist in processing payments for the Daycare, conducting opening /closing procedures, balancing cash drawer and delivery drop bag.
  • Help staff with sweeping and moping the Daycare facility at the end of the day
  • Performing behavior assessments on new dogs in the Daycare facility
  • Managing and monitoring the dogs during their stay at Daycare
  • Administering and filing new client and renewal customer paperwork (waivers, etc) using Gingr database to track customer data.
  • Performing other services for dogs such as brush out, nail trims, paw cleaning and spa treatment .

Compensation: EHS offers a competitive Not-For-Profit compensation package which includes a comphrensive benefits package, and a strong work-life balance.

Hours: 40 hours a week; however, is expected to work hours as required to fulfill department responsibilities. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
