CHS currently has an exciting new opening for a Corporate Training & Development Specialist. In this role, you will build, identify, develop, deliver, and assess training initiatives, as well as develop strategies for continuous process improvement.
This position will be responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices as well as creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up to date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve employee training and performance.
In this role, you will also be responsible for implementing and managing the CHS’ learning management system (LMS) which will involve overseeing, editing and publishing learning content (including managing legacy learning systems), identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving LMS and learner issues, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to leverage learning resources.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience, combined with experience in in training employees with soft skills, particularly in the areas of leadership development, supervisory skills, sales, diversity, conflict resolution, and other human resources topic areas. Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver training content and design course schedules is considered an asset.
