Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Manager, Fundraising & Special Events.
This role is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing successful revenue generation and donor engagement programs including: corporate and foundation giving, major and planned gifts, event sponsorship, and event planning. The position includes stewardship of existing supporters and proactively identifying and building new relationships with high net-worth individuals, sponsors, companies, trusts and foundations. The Manager, Fundraising & Special Events will also serve as National lead and resource to support regional fundraising activities including sponsorships, special events, grant requests, and major gift solicitations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) along with a minimum of 3-5 years fundraising experience in the non-profit health sector. Your proven experience and success with fundraising events, sales and marketing, grant and major donor proposal writing, and raising funds are complemented by your equally strong project and event management skills, with proven ability to manage timelines, people, and budgets. You also have excellent networking, presentation and interpersonal skills, including being able to encourage and motivate donors. Fluency in CRM and online peer-to-peer software and proficiency in MS Office Suite are required. (Raiser’s Edge would be an asset.)
