EMCN has been supporting newcomers of all ages and families, including refugees, skilled immigrants, refugee claimants, and citizens since 1981. In a year, we serve newcomers from more than 100 countries of origin, and offer services in over 30 languages.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Team Lead and Clinical director, the Psychotherapist builds relationships with immigrant and refugee families, youth and children and provides services from a holistic perspective. The Psychotherapist will work closely with team members of the Families and Wellbeing team, which includes several therapists, social workers, youth workers and settlement workers as well as professional and community partners in the implementation and ongoing evaluation of therapeutic counseling services to adults, children, and youth and families.

Start Date: targeting mid to late January
Salary: $41,728 per annum prorated for a 0.6 full time equivalent (FTE), with the possibility of increase to 0.8 FTE or full time, dependent upon grant funding
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Long Term Disability, AD&D, RRSP match up to 3% after 3 months of employment
