Out of School Program

The Boys and Girls Club of Fort Saskatchewan is a nonprofit youth serving organization that has worked with children, youth and families for the past 35 years. We are a member of Boys and Girls Club of Canada and offer a range of programs and services for the community. We strive to provide an inclusive environment for children and youth of all backgrounds.                       

The Boys and Girls Club of Fort Saskatchewan is currently hiring for:

Out of School Program Early Childhood Educators (must have a minimum childcare certification of level 1 however level 2 or 3 an asset)  

Successful candidates will be:

• highly motivated
• will be fully engaged with children,
• work in such a way that children view you as warm, kind, fun and friendly.
• it is important to the Boys & Girls Club that children feel heard and valued by our staff.
• be able to work as part of a team in a calm, inclusive, positive way
• must have strong leadership skills

Must have Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check.

First Aid Certification a requirement, and Class 2 or 4 Driver’s License an asset.

Rate of Pay: 

$16.00/hour + government wage top-up for certification on all child interaction hours worked.

Hours of Work:

15 -35 hrs/week dependent on position, availability to work a split shift will receive priority.

Shifts could be 6am-9am and 2pm or 3pm-6pm
