SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Executive Director is at the centre of all operations at the Canadian Centre for Men and Families (CCMF). It is a challenging role that demands patience, diplomacy and hard work, as well as attention to detail and an ability to multitask. The individual must be a great team player who puts the best interest of the centre ahead of him or herself and who is able to command the respect and trust of the personnel and volunteers that he or she works with on a daily basis.
The Executive Director position will begin on a part-time basis and grow into a full-time position as the finances and resources of the Centre allow.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive Director is responsible for managing the totality of the client experience at the Canadian Centre for Men and Families (CCMF) as well as the development, operation and evaluation of all in-house programs and services. The Executive Director will support the marketing of CCMF programs and work to outreach with other community agencies on behalf of our clients and programs. The Executive Director is responsible for the financial sustainability of the Centre and will support grant writing, donor relations and other aspects of local fundraising. The Executive Director works as a team with volunteers at the CCMF to create and maintain a safe, respectful, welcoming and supportive space for men and families. The Executive Director will report to the CCMF-Ottawa Regional Governance Board. The CCMF Ottawa Governance Board is embedded within CAFE, a national Canada Revenue Agency accredited charitable organization with a national reporting structure.

Remuneration: $2,400.00 gross per month.
