Located in Abbotsford, the Firth program provides a continuum of live-in services for women with substance use concerns. Up to 6 women are provided non-medical detox services for up to one week, with support from Fraser Health medical staff. Firth also provides women 30 days of support-recovery in which to stabilize while abstaining from substance use; and 3-5 months of structured support recovery. Support workers are responsible for case planning, group facilitation, linkage with community resources, transition planning, and the day to day running of the facility.
