We are currently looking for an experienced videographer to elevate our storytelling and video communication so we can help couples build strong marriages, equip parents to raise resilient children of faith, and assist families in need across Canada.

 

About the Position

We are looking for an energetic and engaging professional with a wholehearted desire to contribute to the mission of Focus on the Family Canada. The videographer will support the Integrated Marketing team in facilitating the video initiatives of Focus on the Family Canada that are directed at helping families thrive, including creating video series to educate couples, parents and individuals on godly and healthy ways to live, highlighting new resources like the world-famous Adventures in Odyssey, capturing stories of the lives that God has changed through the ministry of Focus on the Family Canada, and much more. The position is based out of our head office in Langley, BC.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing, shooting and editing high-quality video content.
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts with visually engaging content.
  • Being organized and disciplined in order to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
  • Owning all video recording, editing and content while staying true to the brand's principals and values.

 

About You

As an ideal candidate, you must be a well-rounded and talented videographer and highly service-driven. You should have more than 5 years of experience in filming and video editing. You are a proven self-starter who excels in a collaborative environment. You are results-oriented and process-driven, with high expectations for both yourself and the team. You have a strong attention to detail and ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget. You have an advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Flash, and Photoshop software. You also have social media savvy; experience using YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, and creating motion graphics is considered an asset.

 

Above all, you maintain a consistent witness for Jesus Christ and a courteous, grace-filled, Christlike attitude in dealing with people within and outside Focus on the Family Canada by adhering to our Standards of Moral Conduct and Statement of Faith.
