The Edmonton Garrison Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC), a charitable, non-profit organization that provides programs and services to military families, is accepting applications for the following position: Communications Manager

The position is responsible to the Deputy Director and will provide management of all internal and external communications and marketing of the agency.
Applicants should have a minimum of two years related experience in a senior management position (that includes staff supervision) and post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicants must possess strong writing and communications skills, proven ability to lead and manage staff, past media and public relationship skills, high attention to detail and be able to multi-task. Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud. Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check and clear Child Welfare Check. Preference will be given to those individuals who are bilingual in French and English.
