SHARE is a non-profit, independent, community based organization providing leadership and programs in response to the social needs of the residents of the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra), New Westminster and adjacent communities.

This is an HSA Bargaining Unit Position and requires Union membership. 

Summary of Duties:

• Orient and work alongside volunteers on the truck;
• Daily loading, unloading, pick-up and delivery of donations, food stocks, hampers and items from donors;
• Drive the agency vehicles for pickup of donations, delivery of goods and related duties
• Ensure that the truck is well maintained, and servicing is performed;
• Ensure that all outside areas of the Food Bank are kept safe and clean;
• Removal of unwanted items from the Food Bank and other SHARE Programs.

 Qualifications Required:

• Completion of Grade 12;
• Two years of truck driving experience, with a clean driving record;
• Good communication skills and good physical health. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs;
• Occasionally may be required to work evenings or on a weekend.
