We are a team of skilled administrative and accounting personnel providing expertise in charity administration - bringing guidance and relief to GCF's ministry agents around the world since 2002. GCF provides a framework for ministries to operate in good standing with the CRA and provides donors convenient ways to give gifts of cash and/or assets to a wide variety of projects that are bringing help and hope to people around the world. Our team is dedicated to using their talents and expertise to enable people to follow God’s calling to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. GCF works with Christian ministries and projects in a dynamic cooperative relationship. GCF's Head Office staff provide essential administrative and accounting expertise to enable our ministry managers to focus on the practical side of ministry, which involves engaging in outreach activities and coordinating ministry personal for the project. It is a team effort working towards a common goal: the advancement of the Christian faith, the advancement of education, and the relief of poverty.


The Great Commission Foundation is searching for a great candidate to fill a full-time permanent A/P position open on our Accounting team. If you are service oriented, enjoy solving problems, and love working with numbers, then we want to hear from you. This position is 40 hours weekly working Monday - Friday. Start date is flexible.

Position Overview:
To collect and enter data from multiple sources accurately and efficiently and to verify, post and file confidential information. The ideal candidate enjoys data entry, is detail oriented, and is an effective problem solver.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and processing invoices and expense claims for payment via EFT, wire or cheque.
  • Tracking and processing a high volume of payments with various deadlines.
  • Import and/or export data between different kinds of software.  Verify accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Respond to Agent Representative inquiries, contributing to good customer relations through problem solving.
  • Perform related clerical duties including data entry, maintaining file and record systems, scanning and emailing.


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping & accounting principles and experience is an asset.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective problem solver and team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office Excel.
  • Accurate keyboard skills and ability to enter data at the required speed.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Information collection and management.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
