Mission Possible is a non-profit organization and social enterprise located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. We support individuals challenged by homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental illness, and other barriers to employment to achieve a renewed sense of dignity and purpose through meaningful work. Through our Employment Readiness Program, and our social enterprises, MP Maintenance & MP Neighbours, we equip our program participants with the skills, confidence, and support they need to rejoin the workforce and rebuild a self-sustaining livelihood for themselves.

Job Summary
Mission Possible’s Power Breakfast Program* is an essential outreach tool for our Employment Readiness Program. This program is also an essential service and offers much needed support for over 200 residents in the DTES. As the program lead, the Community Assistant will be responsible for the overall operation of this program. The Community Assistant will work together with other staff and volunteers to ensure the highest degree of satisfaction, efficiency, and safety
*Before COVID-19, Power Breakfast was followed by our Coffee House Program, which is currently suspended until it is safe for a relaunch. Should Coffee House resume, this program also falls under the responsibilities of the Community Assistant.
*A commitment of 6 months minimum is required.
