Position Summary:
The Immediate Response Program team lead aims to carry out the strategic objectives of the Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) to ensure the provision of effective and efficient services within the IRP program. The team lead will provide individual support to staff, lead and facilitate groups for both youth and families, liaising with families, funders and other professionals. May be required to carry a small caseload that supports managing the waitlist. The team lead is familiar with evidence-based interventions such as brief intervention counselling, attachment theory, child and adolescent growth and development, and counselling theories such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Existential and Experiential therapies. The team lead will support their teams in balancing methodologies with relationship-based practice within a strength-based, trauma-informed approach. This position requires a sound understanding of adolescent development, mental health, substance use, and trauma-informed practices.
