Senior Director, Capital Campaign
Sun Youth
Montreal Metro area
closed 8 days ago (Fri, 9 Apr)
full time - term / contract

A COMMITMENT TO CARING AND SHARING SINCE 1954.

Sun Youth works with individuals and families in need from the Greater Montreal area by providing a range of emergency services to ensure basic needs and to preserve people’s integrity, by contributing actively to crime prevention and by promoting physical, social and intellectual development of people through education, sports and recreation.

In a nutshell, Sun Youth is a second home for thousands of people. The problem is we don’t have a suitable place of our own where we can continue caring and sharing—under one roof. Since we lost our home in November 2018, Sun Youth’s vital operations have been scattered in different locations throughout the city.

Thus, we decided to take the future of the organization into our own hands and work towards getting a place of our own that would suit the growing needs of the community.

We have a goal of raising $20 million in our first-ever capital campaign to cover the cost of the building that will house all of Sun Youth’s programs under one roof. We have found the perfect spot where there is ample space available and waiting to be transformed into a place of caring and sharing. To realize our vision, Sun Youth need the help of a seasoned fundraising professional to lead its campaign during a 3 years contract.
