About the Position:  In this permanent Full-Time position, the Trainer will work collaboratively with all CTH Departments and Programs to determine training needs, create meaningful and relevant training opportunities and to deliver training to ensure all CTH employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform their job functions. The Trainer will ensure all mandated training is available and completed by those who require it. In addition, the Trainer will provide training information, identify themes and training gaps, participate in the evaluation system, and provide support to employees as needed.

About You:  You are a self-motivated individual with the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. You are extremely detail oriented, able to work independently and are highly organized, allowing you to effectively manage multiple priorities at one time. You are also extremely adaptable and can adjust to changing priorities as needed. In addition, you have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds as well as with people at all levels of the organization. You are culturally competent and able to conduct yourself in a manner which is respectful and encouraging of the cultural/spiritual beliefs and practices of others.

A Diploma or Degree in Social Services, Education or a related field, plus a minimum of one year of previous experience in a similar role. Relevant experience in the Teaching-Family Model is considered an asset. The successful candidate must demonstrate understanding of adult learning principles as well as experience with training competency-based training workshops. The successful candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Workspaces Suite (Gmail) and Adobe. In addition, a Police Information Check and an Intervention Record Check must be completed upon hire.
