WJS Canada is currently looking for an individual to join our Human Resources team in Maple Ridge, as a Full-Time HRIS Systems Administrator.

The Position:

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Systems Administrator performs various reporting and data processing functions. Manages our internal HRIS database, assists to retain and/or convert employee records in digital formats and educates stakeholders on how to use HRIS systems. Ultimately responsible for supporting the Human Resources (HR) team with effective operation of all HR software/data storage and/or communication systems, therefore, further supporting operations and various management teams.


Flexible weekly schedule of 35-40 hours, based at the Maple Ridge Central Administration office.


As an ideal candidate you possess:

  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Degree in Human Resources is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an HRIS Administrator, including hands-on experience with databases and HR Software.
  • Must have extensive working experience with the Ceridian/Dayforce HRIS Payroll platform.
  • Skilled in the use of computers and related applications/configurations, databases, and HR software.
  • Must have excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience / working knowledge of HR reporting, labour legislation and data protection regulations.


Other requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of the goals, objectives, structure and operations of major social service agencies.
  • Understanding of the development and implementation process for HR standards, procedures and guidelines that support operational processes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of WJS values, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborative leadership and team work skills.

New employees are required to attend new employee orientation as well as initial and ongoing in-service training. Employees are expected to remain current in their field of expertise by participating in ongoing professional development activities as part of orientation to this position.
