Here’s what we can do together:
Trauma Therapists in the SAIP Program (Sexual Abuse Intervention Program) are resposible for providing trauma-informed counselling to children and youth ages 3 to 18 years who have been sexually abused and/or exploited. Counselling services include intake, assessment, treatment, referrals, and consultation and collaboration with other service providers. The Trauma Therapist will also be responsible for providing support services to non-offending family members or caregivers as required. Trauma Therapists support clients in their healing journeys from a feminist, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens.

Work Hours: 24.5 hours per week with possibility of increasing to 31.5 hours per week in combination with New Westminster Trauma Therapist position 7 hours per week
Salary: GS11 Step 1 $1,480.29 bi-weekly at 24.5 hours per week or
$1,903.23 gross bi-weekly at 31.5 hours per week
Location: 1638 E. Broadway, Vancouver
