Withdrawal Management Workers provide support to individuals withdrawing from alcohol and/or drugs within a non-medical, residential facility. You are part of a collaborative team that ensures client safety and comfort at this early stage of their recovery. You monitor client withdrawal symptoms, administer medication as prescribed, support brief service plans and discharge plans, and assist with connection to ongoing service and supports. You are expected to engage with clients in a compassionate manner. You make a difference!
A Withdrawal Management Worker:
Hours of work: 8- or 12-hour rotational shifts; mornings, afternoons and nights. Part Time will have regularly scheduled shifts; Relief staff are on call and/or as needed.
Start date: as soon as possible
