The Parent Coach-Educator's main role is to promote the organization's primary objective: Providing practical parenting information and support to families with young children. The Parent Coach-Educator participates in the overall coordination and implementation of service by developing, evaluating, and participating in Information Children’s programs and practices. They will work as part of a team that reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Bachelor's degree in a Social Science Field (such as Social Work, Family Studies, Child Development, Psychology, Counselling) and two years’ experience working directly with families as a Parent Coach-Educator and of program management/supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Master's degree in a Social Science field (such as Social Work, Counselling Psychology), with at least two years’ experience working directly with families as a Parent Coach-Educator, experience with program management/supervisory roles, or any equivalent or comparable combination of experience and/or education, skills and abilities.
