Better at Home helps seniors with simple day-to-day tasks, thereby helping seniors maintain their

What does it take to be a Program Assistant for the Better at Home Program? You must have a belief
that seniors are an important and growing part of our communities, and their active involvement enriches

part in our communities, they often need support to live independently in their own homes, surrounded
by friends, families and neighbors.

You must be passionate about working with seniors, have knowledge of senior’s issues, barriers and
resources and have experience supporting volunteers.

A post-secondary degree in a related field is an asset plus 3 years of related experience. Please review
the full job description on our website https://www.sccss.ca/about/careers and consider applying for this
exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in our community.

Why work for Community Services? We offer competitive salaries, benefits including extended health
and dental, and a pension plan. We believe in work-life balance and are committed to keeping workloads
in alignment with the true hours worked, with a flexible, family-friendly schedule. Three weeks the first
year and four weeks of paid time off after the first year of service. Plus, we truly make a difference in our
community.

We thank all candidates for their interest, however only those invited for interviews will be contacted.
