Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for the administration of the Orange Shirt Society, including the management of staff, contractors, volunteers, programs and activities, and will maintain effective internal and external relationships in co-operation with the Ambassador/Founder and the Board of Directors. The Executive Director will have a key role in implementing Board policies and decisions, and managing the expansion of resources as the Society grows, in order to maintain the Society’s role as the go-to organization for residential school educational materials, and for ideas and advice on organizing Orange Shirt Day activities.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, starting at $55,000 (negotiable). Benefits and flexible hours are available. The successful applicant will be required to be based in Williams Lake, BC, and a moving allowance will be provided if needed.
