EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
One (1) year Contract

 

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing confidential executive high-level support to the CEO and Board of Directors This comprises of day-to-day operational and administrative support including but not limited to; calendar and email management, minute taking, coordination of meeting logistics and file maintenance. The Executive Assistant also coordinates, attends, prepares agendas, and take minutes at several weekly/monthly evening board meetings
In addition, the Executive Assistant assists with planning and coordinating key projects and events across the GCA to include bi-annual Symposium, Annual General Meeting, Community Celebrations and Sonderly related trainings and events.

 

The ideal candidate:

 

You describe yourself as exceptionally organized and deadline driven with superior communication and interpersonal skills. You are flexible, perform well under pressure, and embrace new tasks/projects with a positive attitude.

Specifically, you bring a minimum of 3 years administrative experience for C-suite and/or Director level roles with proven ability to identify and manage confidential and/or urgent matters. You also bring a post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline along with a proven ability to problem solve and work autonomously. Your highly developed use of tact and diplomacy when dealing with issues not anticipated and/or considered high level are coupled with your demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity. Finally, you have advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office application. Prior experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is an asset.
