Sensity seeks a Cafe Coordinator for an immediate opening for a full time, 18 month contract role (maternity leave). Reporting to the Manager of Specialized Services, this position will help build on the vision for an accessible on site cafe and create opportunities for possible employment for self-advocates.
You will be based in Paris, Ontario, and will be responsible for developing the systems and processes to guide the daily operations of the Recreation Centre Cafe, which includes work flow and procedures, the development of a menu which highlights food items that provides sensations to the senses and coordinating and supervising a team of participants including those who are deafblind to enable them to gain basic hospitality work experience in a cafe setting which may entail catering and light meals.
