About us: Hospice Wellington provides and promotes hospice palliative care to individuals with life-limiting illness, and their families. All programs and services are provided at no cost to our clients.
Your opportunity: The Communications & Events Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations & the Executive Director, Hospice Wellington. This is a key role within the Fund Development team, which requires a strong commitment to the position and is responsible for all communications and events.
Your responsibilities: Hospice Wellington communications including social media for events, programs and services, website, marketing and advertising, and public or media relations duties as required. Responsible for branding, graphic design and the overall aesthetic integrity of Hospice Wellington and its programs and services. Responsible for planning and executing all Hospice Wellington fundraising events, including research, analysis, communication and evaluation. This role also provides oversight and support to all third-party fundraising initiatives. This role works within the Fund Development team in planning, budgeting, compliance, accountability and policy and procedure, in alignment with our organization’s Strategic Plan.

This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. Weekdays – timing flexible based on requirements of the position. Evenings and weekends where necessary.
