This person/couple has served/lived cross-culturally, is a catalyst, a visionary, and an entrepreneur. Relying heavily on co-leaders to accomplish MORE’s ministry vision, this position is accountable to the Executive Director of Outreach Canada.
The MORE Network is a cooperative of like-minded personnel, facilitating member care across Canada. We do this to undergird, strengthen and encourage Canadian Cross-Cultural Workers (singles & couples) and Missionary Kids (aka Third Culture Kids) towards a resilient lifestyle.
MORE provides mission sending organizations/churches and mission training organizations with a platform to collaborate and accomplish more together. This role represents MORE nationwide, provides spiritual leadership and encouragement, and is a champion of Cross-Cultural Worker and Third Culture Kid member care across Canada.
While having a shepherd’s heart, this person/couple are risk takers/experimenters, approaching ministry with the big picture in mind knowing that, if God is not in this, it will completely fail. They understand spiritual leadership is first and foremost, relying on the power of the Almighty to accomplish the work. Is self-aware, humble/meek, and is not seeking to improve their resume or make a name for themselves.
Work experience: while not mandatory, it would be helpful to have marketplace experience in addition to either being a repatriated cross-cultural worker or a third culture kid.
