Here’s what we can do together:
This position is responsible for providing trauma counselling to children, youth and their families who have experienced trauma, as well as to adult women (cis, trans), non-binary, gender-fluid & two-spirited survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Approximately 60% of this position is working in the MCFD Family Trauma Program, and 40% is working in the STV (Stopping the Violence Counselling) Program. There is also the exciting potential for this position to be co-located, one day per week at Foundry Richmond working as part of an inter-disciplinary team in support of youth (ages 13-24). This position supports clients and families in their healing journeys from a feminist, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens as part of our larger Trauma Services team.

Work Hours: 26.25 hours per week
Salary: $ 1,586.02 (GS11 Step 1), with a competitive benefits and pension package
Location: Richmond Office: 250-7000 Minoru Blvd, Richmond, BC/ there is the possibility of this position being co-located at Foundry Richmond for 1 day per week
