We are hiring SIX (6) CBT Clinicians! 
 
FIVE (5) Permanent, Full-time roles, 35 hours a week with the possibility of 40 hours per week. Evenings and weekends will be required based on client scheduling needs. 
 
ONE (1) Contract, Full -time role (until July 2022) 35 hours a week with the possibility of 40 hours per week. Evenings and weekends will be required based on client scheduling needs.

Location: In accordance with current public health directives, training will be available remotely for staff (i.e., via teleconference and videoconferencing technologies) and work can be delivered from home.
 
The home office for this position is our Vaughan office (8271 Keele Street, Vaughan, ON L4K 1Y2) however some employees may be able to attend remotely via the Toronto office.  Once all public health directives have been lifted regarding the pandemic, key trainings and team meetings will take place at our Vaughan Office.  Working from home beyond the pandemic period may be a possibility
 
Job Profile:
 
The clinician is responsible for providing assessments (intake/triage), treatment, and interim support to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, over the telephone, through a structured program. Assessments are standardized in alignment with the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) guidelines. Treatment follows a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework, primarily using bibliotherapy. The CBT bibliotherapy program is delivered in a series of sessions over approximately 2-3 months for each client. The clinician provides psychotherapy via telephone centered around specific concepts and activities from selected CBT manuals. 
 
The clinician also administers structured questionnaires to measure the client’s quality of life, functioning and symptoms of anxiety & depression. Clinicians will also be required to provide short-term, interim support to patients who are awaiting transfer to higher-intensity services (i.e., supportive, brief contact).
 
The clinician liaises and reports any client concerns or safety issues to the client’s primary health care provider and the CMHA Clinical Consultation team. The clinician maintains client records, documenting clients’ progress through the program. The clinician also receives clinical support and supervision through feedback from Clinical Psychologists and will be required to adhere to clinical directives. The incumbent is also required to perform other related duties as assigned.
 
In addition to compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, the incumbent is also expected to behave ethically, demonstrate competence in effective communication and team building, demonstrate effectiveness in working in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate confidence in decision-making and in building relationships.  
 
Requirements:
 
• Registered in the province of Ontario as a member in good standing with the appropriate College and eligible to provide the controlled act of psychotherapy as either a Registered Social Worker, Registered Occupational Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Nurse.
• Master’s degree is required 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the delivery of evidence-based CBT is preferred; Documented evidence of CBT training with adequate supervision is preferred 
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of etiology and treatment of depressive and anxiety disorders as well as CBT and its application in mood and anxiety disorders 
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the science and practices of psychotherapy including a full range of psychotherapeutic and assessment techniques  
• Results-oriented work ethic and ability to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and to deliver quality, consistent and timely results 
• Strong assessment skills to deliver and interpret symptom and outcome measures 
• Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills 
• Proven written and verbal communication skills 
• Proven ability to adapt readily to change
• Models and promotes core ethical practice, organization’s values, and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude 
• Familiarity with a Microsoft Office365 applications (Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with scheduling and electronic medical record keeping using a clinical management system is an asset

Working Conditions: Office work. Sitting at a desk and communicating over the phone for long periods of time i.e. a tele-agent environment. Day, evening and weekend hours are required based on client scheduling needs.
