Ophea (www.ophea.net) is a charity with operations based out of Toronto that believes schools are an important setting to help students learn healthy habits that will help them grow up to be happy, engaged citizens. Ophea works closely with educators (e.g., classroom teachers, educational assistants, principals, school board staff) working across Ontario’s 72 school boards to ensure the health and well-being of all students remains top of mind. This includes offering programs and services across a variety of health topics including physical activity, concussions, healthy eating, mental health, and many more. Ophea works with government, foundations, corporate partners, and other not-for-profit organizations to bring this work to life.

Ophea is looking for a 12-month (contract) Bilingual Projects Coordinator (with possibility to extend). Ophea is open to negotiating different work arrangements depending on the applicant, including offering a partial / full remote working arrangement for those living outside of Toronto (excluding occasional travel to the Toronto office 3-4 times a year for key meetings / events).
The Bilingual Projects Coordinator provides coordination support across a variety of projects within their portfolio. This position directly supports different teams in the successful planning and execution of projects across multiple areas including program development, professional learning, marketing and communications, and evaluation.

This is a full-time position starting in September/October 2021 (to be negotiated with successful candidate) with a starting salary of $45,000 (negotiable based on experience).
