THE ALBERTA COMMUNITY SUPPORT NETWORK (ACSN) IS A GROUP OF VOLUNTEER CONSULTANTS OPERATING UNDER THE AUSPICIOUS OF AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EDMONTON CHAMBER OF VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATIONS (ECVO).
The Community Connector reports to the ACSN Steering Committee and supports the Volunteer Consultants in the areas of:
ADMINISTRATION - email; ACSN website content; create and maintain SharePoint files and Volunteer Consultant data files; prepare reports
PROJECT MANAGEMENT - monitor and track the status of volunteer consultant projects; maintain current project data; provide status reports; ongoing liaison with Team Leads; manage all correspondence with client organizations.
STEERING COMMITTEE - record minutes of Steering Committee meetings; track Committee action items.
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail and accurate reporting and record keeping. Technical skills include familiarity with MSOffice 365 applications and website content creation. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator - both written and verbal.
INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
Almost all the work is done remotely and requires somewhat of a flexible schedule. The time commitment ranges from 2 to 5 days per month.
Experience in the nonprofit sector is an asset.
