Caledon Community Services is looking for a Chief Development Officer to provide leadership to our team of fund development and event planning professionals while working closely with our Communications team and Program Directors.
We’re seeking an all-star with a strong track record in fund development
to provide strategy and leadership to our organization.
Position Overview: The Chief Development Officer (CDO) oversees and executes fundraising strategies, cultivates new donors and retains existing ones by building a culture of appreciation and philanthropy. The CDO is our leader in attracting support to grow our services.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with Divisional Directors, you set annual fund development activities and targets and build relationships with key stakeholders.
-Degree/Diploma in Fundraising, Marketing/Communications, Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
-Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation (or working toward) an asset;
-Minimum 3 years related experience in fund development, ideally in the not-for-profit sector;
-Supervisory experience an asset.
