ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: CANADA SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM

  • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment;

POSITION SUMMARY

As Assistant, Operations, you will perform a wide range of administrative duties for the Operations team related to office services. You will report to the Manager, Operations, HR & Contracts and work closely with the Coordinator, Operations, as well as liaise with all RHF staff, vendors, visitors, couriers and BCIT.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help sort and distribute incoming mail, as well as collect and record outgoing mail;
  • Stock and organize storage rooms and cabinets;
  • Help arrange staff parking and security passes;
  • Maintain inventories for RHF books, e-store and kitchen supplies;
  • Develop and maintain relevant spreadsheets using MS Excel;
  • Draft documents and basic communication materials;
  • Filing and records management;
  • Coordinate stationary orders and fill supply requests as requested;
  • Support with special projects as needed;
  • Help place maintenance requests with vendors and building management as needed; and
  • Perform other duties as requested.

 

PREFERENCES

  • High degree of professionalism and strict adherence to maintaining confidentiality and privacy;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail; and
  • Computer experience with MS Office.

 

An equivalent combination of education, experience and skills/behaviours will be considered.
