National Network Coordinator (Full-time, Permanent) 
Location: Toronto, Ontario - candidates in other locations will be considered
Reports to: Senior Manager, Knowledge Exchange
Hiring Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually, group benefits including medical, dental and EAP, a defined benefit pension plan, professional development opportunities, 15 paid vacation days in first year of employment (increasing to 20 in second year), as well as time off between Christmas and New Year to recharge

About the position:
CFCC is seeking an individual with strong facilitation skills and a passion for designing conversations and resources that support collaboration and shared learning across organizations. Working within CFCC’s Knowledge Exchange program, the National Network Coordinator will coordinate activities within the Good Food Organization Network, and contribute to content development, facilitation and partner support for over 300 organizations working on food security programming across Canada.  
The National Network Coordinator will work with support from CFCC program staff to coordinate regular network calls, develop resources including profiling network stories, coordinating virtual and in person gatherings, building new relationships and completing program evaluation. 
  • Act as the primary liaison with partners in the Good Food Organization program, including providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests
  • Coordinate all administrative tasks for our Good Food Organizations program such as program outreach; contact management; email communications; and member intake, onboarding, and annual membership renewal. 
  • Responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate data about GFOs, developing and pulling of reports to tell a story about the GFO network and advise on gaps seen in data
  • Coordinate evaluation of network activities in consultation with network members, and advise CFCC on opportunities to strengthen and advance the Good Food Organization program
  • Collaborate with CFCC Knowledge Exchange staff to design and implement engaging and content rich online training, short courses and webinars for our Community Food Centre and Good Food Organization partners 
  • Plan, research, and write concise and compelling learning resources (e.g. blogs/articles, program profiles, longer form manuals) that profile promising programs/practices and leaders within the community food security sector
  • Support logistics for CFCC’s annual Food Summit including  aspects of event planning and management, identifying and working with a variety of external venues/facilities, negotiating contracts with presenters and vendors, and maintaining event budgets.
  • Align with CFCC values and contribute to the evolution of our culture, and a work environment that is grounded in collaboration, equity, respect, innovation and transparent communication 
Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience with program planning and evaluation, ideally with subject matter expertise in one or more areas of community food programming
  • Demonstrated experience putting equity and inclusion principles into practice, along with a passion for using good food as a vehicle for individual, community and broader social change
  • Strong administrative skills, including demonstrated skills in being detail oriented, organized and focused on quality, with a proactive, service-oriented attitude. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills, ideally proficient  in both English and French. 
  • Experience and training around the principles of adult learning would be an asset.
  • Experience in facilitating community-based/non-profit organizations in online meetings and in-person gatherings  
  • Experience with planning multi-day gatherings, special events and/or conferences 
  • Experience collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, and comfort working independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, negotiation) 
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, research and problem solving skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable when working with partners
