Manager - Pre-School and Out of School Care (Full-Time 37.5) – Richmond, BC

$62,000-$65,000 yearly

Join our team as we prepare to open Seedlings Child Care Centre. You will assist in developing and executing an operational plan overseeing two of our new programs:

  • School year preschool for children ages 3—5
  • Out-of-School Care for children from Kindergarten to Grade 7

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Foster a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children and staff.
  • Ensure that center facilities and equipment are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations.
  • Nurture relationships with each child and family based on mutual respect, trust and the celebration of the uniqueness of each child and family.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for staff in planning and implementing inclusive, developmentally appropriate activities that meet the needs of each child. 
  • Provide meaningful feedback and information to parents/families regarding their child’s learning and development.
  • Manage and support staff and promote their professional development.

 

YOUR CAPABILITIES:

  • Registered BC Early Childhood Education Certificate.
  • One to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with children in a child care/recreational setting.
  • Approved Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector.
  • A Valid First Aid/CPR certificate and Valid Class 4 License is required.
