Administrative Assistant/Program Support

Full-Time Opportunity

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role

 What you will do:          Support Job Skills’ Employment Services and Programs by:

  •  Providing clerical support including maintaining databases, scheduling appointments, disseminating information, maintaining files, preparing reports, copying program materials, processing Purchase Orders, maintaining electronic and hard copy filing system, word processing correspondence, sending faxes and emails, photocopying classroom materials as required
  • Providing customer service through receiving and directing calls and handling walk-in clients, providing general program information to clients and referring appropriately, providing general program information to clients and refers appropriately as needed, working cooperatively with other staff to ensure consistent and efficient reception coverage while providing excellent customer service, relaying messages and program inquiries from Community partners
  • Participating in community outreach by promoting Job Skills programs, participating in community activities and networking with community agencies to support project goals and develop potential mentoring relationships
