Coordinator, Marketing and Communications (Full-time, one-year contract, temporarily working remotely during COVID-19 pandemic)

The Position - Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Support the efficient flow of work through the marketing and communications department, overseeing every aspect of the activity tracker, ensuring all projects are scheduled, planned, developed, approved and rolled out under pre-determined time frame and budget.
  • Support the development and execution of program materials to support recruitment for PTC’s programs, as well as a variety of organization-wide materials to advance the organization’s brand building objectives.
  • Working closely with the National Manager, Donor Impact, support the execution of fundraising materials including proposals and stewardship reports, and other donor facing materials, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Proofreading and editing of marketing and communication materials, following style guide and agreed review framework.
  • Support version control of documents through feedback/revisions process with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with planning project communications meetings, take meeting notes, document best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Support execution of social media campaigns and updates to corporate website.
  • Support the administrative planning and execution of the Marketing and Communications plans.
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of marketing and communications support materials, such as PTC branded items, signage, etc., ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
  • Support coordination of marketing and communications events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral as required.

Graphic Design

  • Support PTC’s Graphic Design function to ensure all materials meet the PTC brand standards.
  • Make graphic design changes to collateral materials using the Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Update sponsor logo recognition as required, following the stewardship and recognition guidelines.
  • Support formatting of documents in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Manage PTC’s photo library, ensuring photos are filed and labelled according to a standard.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual (French/ English) is a strong
  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of written and oral communication skills that exceed the expectations of funders, corporate contacts, and other

The full-time, one year contract has a salary range of $48,000 to $52,000 plus benefits. There is a possibility for contract renewal pending funding and operational needs.
