Renewed Computer Technology is a not for profit organization which manages a number of programs, the largest of which is the Computers for Schools program in Ontario.

The Niagara Centre Administrative Assistant reporting to the Niagara Centre Manager, will execute the following responsibilities and other duties as assigned on behalf of Renewed Computer technologies – Ontario (RCT) and demonstrate achievements and competencies in the following components of the job described below:

Main Responsibilities:

The Niagara Centre Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative assignments for the RCT suite of programs in the Niagara Centre location.

Administration

  • Compiling and analyzing data
  • Support existing regional OTR and CFS Partners with administrative activities
  • Support with application assessment and processing where needed
  • Support with Order paperwork and payments
  • Support ensuring all paperwork submitted to Finance team is completed accurately
  • Support to communicate with local clients to ensure orders and payments are accurate
  • Complete the daily financial report for the Niagara Centre
  • Complete the financial checklist and document folder sent weekly to Finance
  • Answering phone calls and emails with members of the general public providing program and donor information and answering questions, as needed
  • Assist and respond to customer inquiries
  • Assist departmental and inter-departmental staff to resolve outstanding issues
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Support shipping coordination for orders and interoffice document and material transfer using Purolator
  • Support onboarding paperwork for youth interns and ensure intake forms are complete
  • Coordinate and participate in general and health & safety meetings, as required
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Preferred Post-secondary qualifications in Administration or related program
  • Preferred minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proficiency and speed in the use of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
  • Experience using an ERP or database management system
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with extreme accuracy
