Place des Arts is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and qualified Cartooning/Comics/Drawing Instructor who is passionate about teaching and interacts well with children and teens.

 

Candidate(s) will teach a variety of comic drawing and/or cartooning classes to children and youth for our September 2022 to June 2023 season. Candidates must be open to teaching in-person and via livestream.

 

PLACE DES ARTS

Place des Arts provides quality arts education in visual arts, music, dance and drama for all ages and skill levels. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of post-secondary education in fine arts and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5-years teaching experience working with children and youth of various ages and abilities

REMUNERATION

Starting at $40 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.

 

REQUIREMENTS

All Place des Arts instructors are required to obtain and provide a Police Information Check prior to teaching at Place des Arts.
